Kids between the ages of 6-18 are invited to submit photos for the annual Kids with Cameras competition.  All submissions will be judged by local judges, and the local winners will be sent on to a regional competition.

Photos will be grouped into four different categories and by the age of the photographers.

Photos must be submitted in one of the following four categories:

Culture and Tradition: Depicting the events, activities, stories, and social gatherings that make up our world. These photographs might show the daily life of a family or the traditions or emerging trends that define a group.

Surroundings: These photographs depict our physical surroundings, whether it's natural beauty or the streets outside.

Portraits: Portraits are a representation of a person or people in which the facial expression is predominant, providing insight into personality, mood, and style.

"What Moves Me" Photograph with Essay or Poem: Photographs should answer the question "What Moves Me?" and be submitted with an essay or poem written by the photographer.  Length will vary by age group but shouldn't exceed one page.

The age groups are:
6-9
10-12
13-15
16-18
